Hasselt, Belgium

After we did our inspections we needed to go to the other side of Belgium to look for an apartment for some missionaries who were in a foursome in Genk. The mission president wants them to be in twos not fours. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get to Hasselt. This is a neat city. All the roads go in a circle. You have the inner circle where the centrum is and then the outer circle which is the end of town. Its quite small but very unique. We looked at three apartments and found one that we liked.  This is the pharmacy we ran into waiting for the real estate office to open after lunch.  It had a green cross which was lit up so people can find it easily.

This was another unique restaurant.  I think it had about every beverage sign on it.

We had a 2 1/2 hour drive home so we needed to fill up.  This is the cheapest diesel price we have found.  But remember this is for a liter. A liter is .264 gallons.
