Flowers from the Van Dams

The Van Dams felt sorry for us after our car got broken into so they wrote us this poem and gave us these sunflowers and tulips. They are very kind and we appreciated it very much.

New Yaris

Every 3 years we turn over the cars. They are being replaced with a Toyota Yaris.

The A.Ps. are getting this one.

They gave us this beautiful bouquet which we gave to Sister Robinson. Every time they get a new car they get a bottle of wine.

District meeting

At district meetings (every tuesday) the missionaries cook. Today was pizza on french bread rolls. Elder Fowkes, Elder Shaw, Elder Silva, Elder Pouwer, Sister Johansen and Sister Goodman.

Monday lunches

Every monday I prepare lunch for the office Elders and the President and his wife. Today we had fajitas.

Delft Museum

This was the car parked outside the factory.

Almost everything in the factory is handpainted. Each piece is coded with the factory mark which looks like a porcelain jar with an F under it then DELFT under it, item number, artists initials, and a date code.

These plates were made for the Royal Family.

Wijketen or Ward dinner

Ward dinner (wijketen) on institute night. Yeah, I don't have to cook. They made pannenkoeken which are like crepes. Elder Fowkes, Elder Andrew, Sister Adams, ?, Elder Rozendaal (he is from the Netherlands and was released last month) Elder Harrop, Elder DaSilva, and Elder Bourne.
