Driving home from Bussom we saw a beautiful sunset.

Stroopwafels

Here he is cooking the wafels on the street.

  Next he is putting carmel syrup in between the two wafels.

This is our new favorite treat.

The Beach

On Saturday we finally got to the beach.  It is only about 15 minutes from our apartment.
It was in Katwijk Aan Zee.  

There were lots of fisherman. They would go out as far as they
could into the sea and cast out their lines.

Elder Robison talked to this man and he said the fishing was great.

The beaches were really clean.

Alkmaar

We were standing on this bridge when we heard a boat.  They had to duck to get under it.

We went to Alkmaar on friday.  It is about 1 1/2 hours away.  We needed to check on a new apartment for the zone leaders.  Their apartment had been condemned because of mold. They also had a headlight out.  Elder Robison found a video on u tube and decided to fix it himself.  Now we have to close the old apartment and get them moved into the new one.

Trunk or Treat

Here are Sister Hoff and Sister Thomas.  Sister Hoff goes home in three weeks, Sister Thomas has a sister Natalie who is on Studio C. Natalie has long red hair.

Here is Elder Frisby and Elder Ames.

We are in Zoetermeer at a branch halloween party.  These are the missionaries assigned here.  We had pot luck soup and rolls. The YM/YW had games for the children. Then they went outside in the parking lot for Trunk or Treat.  There were about 75 children and youth.  We had the Wassenaar Branch and the Zoetermeer Ward attend.  Everyone dressed up and had lots of fun.  I didn't get any pictures.  We were too busy talking to the members to try and get to know them.

Hello

Here are the new missionaries straight from the MTC.  There are 17 of them. We are at the city office so we can get residency so we can be leagal and stay in the country.  

Good Bye

Saying good bye to our awesome office Elders.  They really helped us out alot.  We will truly miss them. They are the ones that bought me roses for my birthday.
